We connect with each other as community, reflecting the love of God with one another. Through connecting with the community of New Hope, it is our desire that you would grow in the transforming love and support found here, that you would find a place to belong and blossom, and that you would grow your faith through a group of other seekers.
Is a life involved in God’s transforming power for you? Are you ready to make a difference, to belong to a community that testifies to God’s love and grace? Then the next step is to talk with Pastor Kathryn Cox and to attend an orientation meeting. There you will have the opportunity to meet leaders in the church, to discover more about New Hope, and to ask questions. You will be provided information about our membership process.
Orientation is provided several times each year, but don’t let that stop you. If you find a ministry or mission you feel called to participate in, contact the person leading it or call the church office.

We are excited that you would join us in our work to make a difference in the world. In order to become a member of New Hope one of these is required.
- Through baptism you become a child of God, an important step in your life and an exciting way to join the church.
- Those who have been baptized may join by affirming that baptism. This is where you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, where you say yes to the saving grace freely given by God.
- If you are a Lutheran who has transferred to the area, you can join by transfer of membership.
